Apprentice Sign Maker

Enthusiasm and Creativity – if you can demonstrate this and also have an interest in the sign-making industry then you should apply now; to learn and develop skills that cover all areas of screen process printing and digital printing.
You will naturally be able to travel to both employer and college locations in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire and Sheffield City Campus.

4 x GCSE Grade A*-D or numerical equivalent in English & Maths

Full Description

Reporting to the Business Partners - you will cover a range of work related processes including all areas of screen printing digital printing and graphic design.

Product range includes:-Industrial Clothing and Leisurewear
Stickers and Labels
Promotional Products
Metals and Plastics
General Signs
Crime Reduction Signs
Health & Safety Signs
Vehicle Graphics

You will attend Sheffield College - City Campus for one day per week in term time over a minimum of 12 months

Working Week

Mon-Fri, 8-4pm, 37.5hours

Other Information

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.50 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
