At The Sheffield College we can offer 14 - 16 provision for young people in Year 10 and 11. Places may be available for young people as alternative provision, in agreement with the school, or who are Electively Home Educated, in agreement with the Local Authority.
Our Career Discovery pathway is a stepping stone for young people to progress onto further learning or into employment. The pathway is for young people who need to improve their English and maths skills and develop their skills for working life and living independently. It is an ideal opportunity for young people who are not currently in education, employment or training.

Foundation Learning is a pathway for you to develop your skills for life and the world of work. They are supported courses that enable you to develop your independent living skills and your social, emotional and personal development. You will take part in practical options including cooking and art and you will also have the opportunity to develop your English and maths skills. Some courses on this pathway also have a supported placement attached to enable you to develop your skills and confidence in the workplace.
