For example how the industry works, how an airport operates and why the aviation industry is an important contributor to the UK economy. This course has a broad spectrum covering the wider context of Aviation as a whole and is designed for students wishing to pursue a career in Aviation in general, in roles such as Passenger Service Agents, Transport Security Advisors, Airport Managers or even HMRC Customs & Excise. This course is not specifically designed for air cabin crew. Please note, students wishing to pursue a career as Cabin Crew need to look at Air Cabin Crew Level 2.

About the Course

Aviation continues to be a fast growing industry with new and expanding airports developing worldwide. Ground staff and cabin crew play a very important role in the delivery of the customer experience from the initial check-in to disembarkation of the aircraft, in terms of customer service, safety, security and the comfort of passengers and crew. This course is designed to prepare you for a career in aviation.

Within the aviation academy we have exceptional facilities, including an aircraft cabin and check-in facilities that are realistic to the industry for practical work.
