You will study a range of related subject areas designed to develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the music industry. These include music listening skills, music software, composing and performance using music technology, studio recording, synthesis, sampling, acoustics, live sound engineering, sound design for film and TV, music video production and events management.
Key Areas of Study
5 GCSEs grades A* - C or acceptable alternatives. Must include English Language.
There is ongoing assessment through coursework and assignments.
You may progress on to a degree course in higher education, a music school or employment in the industry.
