This is a practical and work-related business course. You will learn all about the exciting world of business and have the opportunity to apply your learning in a practical and realistic way.
You will develop your knowledge of and gain a broad business experience in:
4 GCSEs at A*-D grades (or acceptable alternatives) including English Language with minimum grade E in maths.
This Business BTEC level 2 qualification is continually assessed through coursework and two units are assessed by exam.
Coursework will be based around practical business exercises and you will be encouraged to utilise your own experiences of business you may have developed through part-time work or work placements.
The next step could be to one of our Business BTEC Level 3 courses or an appropriate alternative. The course also provides a good preparation for employment or an apprenticeship.
Future career opportunities could include working in areas such as administration, accounting, customer services, estate agency, marketing, sales and retailing.
