About the Course

The aim of the course is to provide students with a range of basic skills to be able to make small projects. You will start by making a simple project to develop basic skills. As your skills develop you will make a simple item of furniture or a project of your own design at the tutor’s discretion.

You will be taught by Anna Childs, an experienced furniture maker and designer who runs her own furniture making business in Sheffield. A great course for anyone with an interest in woodwork as a hobby or looking to take up furniture making as a career.
