This course is a great if you are interested in a career in the health and social care sector. This could include caring for the elderly in a care home, working with adults or children with disabilities or helping people recover from illness or injury in a hospital or care centre.
This course is an excellent starting point for young people who are interested in learning about work or further study in health and social care. It helps develop the personal skills, qualities and attitude required.
4 GCSEs grades A* - E (or acceptable alternatives) including English Language.
The BTEC Level 1 Health and Social Care course is assessed mostly by coursework. There will also be some exams.
Successful completion of this course, good attendance and punctuality along with tutor recommendation can lead to our Health and Social Care BTEC Level 2 Diploma course or other Level 2 course.
