Leadership & Management ILM Dip Level 3 Online

The Institute of Leadership and Management offers a wide range of qualifications covering all aspects of leadership and management. Last year 90,000 people registered for an ILM qualification, gaining the crucial skills and knowledge to improve their performance at work. The Level 3 qualifications in Leadership and Management are ideal for people who have management responsibilities but no formal training and who are serious about developing their abilities. The qualifications particularly support practicing team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures. This course has a flexible start date and is available for students to start at any point throughout the year.

About the Course

You are able to start the online course leading to the ILM Level 3 Diploma in Leadership and Management at almost any time of the academic year. The course takes approximately 18 months to complete; this can be longer or shorter depending on your available study time. You are expected to study for at least three hours a week. Alternatively, you may be interested in the Certificate which takes 12 months or the Award which takes approximately six months to complete.

You will be given access to high quality online course materials written by a specialist teacher. You are expected to work through the materials, completing formative tasks. At the end of each unit, you will be expected to complete an assignment. Subject to demand, we can arrange for individual face-to-face tutorials and/or group workshops.

You will receive six months’ trial membership of the ILM, giving access to a range of resources and services including a specialist online portal which can be used to enhance and supplement your continuing professional development (CPD) requirements. Another benefit to studying members is ILM’s management magazine, “Edge” which can be accessed online or in hard copy format. There is also the opportunity to attend evening events with input from a guest speaker and network with other members.
