Peter Jones Enterprise Academy Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Level 3 (two year option)

This two year course, equivalent to 3 A-Levels, is perfect if you wish to develop business skills and knowledge in an engaging, practical and hands-on way. You will have the opportunity to interact with numerous entrepreneurs and businesses, whilst developing your own business ideas and trading a small enterprise.


About the Course

The Peter Jones Enterprise Academy provides an entrepreneurial environment that equips you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to run your own businesses, whilst at the same time providing the progression route to university.


Key Units

This practical, hands-on course enables you to develop your own business ideas and trade a small business, whilst gaining knowledge and expertise from entrepreneurs and business professionals who have been there and done it. Businesses set live projects for students, run workshops and guest speaker sessions and also provide mentoring and potential investment opportunities.

Throughout the course, you will have the opportunity to take part in regional and national competitions, as well as the opportunity to be named the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ and gain £5,000 towards your business idea.

You will learn how to be entrepreneurial and what it takes to run your own successful business, as well as how to use your new skills and knowledge to help existing businesses flourish and grow.

You will study a range of business related units including business planning & pitching, financial planning, market research and branding & promotion.

5 GCSEs at A*-C or acceptable alternatives, must include English Language and Maths.


Assessment

All units are assessed through practical assignments, live projects and coursework.
