Plumbing Level 2 Diploma

This course will allow you to develop existing skills and give you the underpinning knowledge required to develop a wide range of skills including installation, commissioning and maintenance.

About the Course

This course leads to a Level 2 Plumbing qualification. You will need to bring your own overalls and safety boots for workshop sessions. All other safety equipment will be provided. Progress will be reviewed regularly in tutorial sessions.

  • Health & Safety
  • Cold Water Supplies
  • Hot Water Supplies
  • Central Heating Systems
  • Drainage & Rainwater Systems

The course is approximately 50% theory and 50% practical.

Functional Skills lessons also form an important part of your course. They include Maths, English and ICT to help you improve your skills in these areas.

Level 1 Plumbing Qualification or industry experience.


Practical assessment and exams

Where does this Lead

You can progress onto the Level 3 Plumbing course or an Apprenticeship, or into employment in the construction industry.
