If you have always been interested in taking on an Apprentice but would like to trial how this could work for your business first, then a Traineeship is for you.
Effectively, a trainee is usually a young person looking to step up into an Apprenticeship. For an employer it gives you the chance to take someone on short-term (usually from 4 weeks to 6 months) without any cost (beyond expenses). That way you can see the benefit of having an extra pair of hands around and see if it’s something you’d like to take further. In fact almost 80% of employers retain their Trainee as an Apprenticeship.
