Apologies to adults applying for full time courses to start in September
The College has received a significantly lower allocation from the government, via the Skills Funding Agency, for its adult provision.
The Sheffield College is presently deciding on how to best allocate the funds that it does have available for adult education for 2010-11, taking into account the government's stated priorities.
We apologise to those who have been waiting for some time to hear whether we can offer a place or not. We regret that for many adults we will not be able to offer a place to study full time with us due to the reduction in funding for those over the age of 19. We hope to inform all adults who are waiting for a decision on a full-time course place by the end of June at the latest.
The College will be offering a selection of part time courses for adults. We will advertise these through the website and Choices magazine in July. Most courses will accept on-line enrolments from late July onwards.
