eCommunications Foundation & Honours Degree Course

at The Online College and Sheffield Hallam University

This new exciting Foundation Degree Course is one of the UK's first to be taught entirely via online learning.  eCommunications skills are in high demand and some students have obtained professional jobs via this course even before they have completed the degree.

Our students come from all over the UK and beyond and there is no requirement to leave your home or workplace, not even to take exams. (The course is 90% coursework assessed.)

Most students get their fees paid by their LEA and some even get a grant to study; and now, for one year only, because of a grant from the European Social Fund, successful applicants from South Yorkshire may have their fees paid for them (subject to contract to be signed in June 2009) regardless of whether or not they are eligible for LEA grants.

The next course begins in September 2009.  People with A levels or who can demonstrate a high standard of writing (level 3) can apply.  International students with a good standard of English (6.0 IELTS score or equivalent) are welcome to apply.

The world's fastest growing and most profitable industry at the moment is the Communications Industry. People with skills in modern communications methods - computers, multimedia, the internet and mobile technology - are in demand.

People who have skills and knowledge in modern communications using computers, multimedia, and the internet, combined with a professional standard of writing in forms suitable for business, marketing, publicity, and enterprise, discover that a world of employment opportunities open up to them.

Via The Online College you can take a fully online taught BA in eCommunications (Foundation or Honours) with The Sheffield College and Sheffield Hallam University.

You can complete your entire degree course from the comfort of your own home or your workplace with the college most respected for online learning; the winner of the 2006 E-Learning Age Award for best online learner support.
