Award-Winning Nursery
Students who need childcare are well catered for at Sheffield City College. A team of caring, qualified staff look after children whilst their parents attend class during the daytime. The brand new nursery is also open for members of staff and the general public.
Children are provided with an excellent standard of care in a positive learning environment and, in 2006, the Young Children's Service awarded the coveted Pathways to Quality Award.
Sheffield City College nursery is a 60-place Nursery and is open for 50 weeks a year.
The Nursery is run by fully qualified and trained staff and, along with similar facilities at Hillsborough and Norton, received glowing praise in recent Ofsted Inspections.
- You can access 15 hours of free nursery education a week if your child is over 3 years of age
- You may be able to claim childcare tax credit towards the cost of your childcare, call the Inland Revenue on 0845 300 3900 or visit www.inlandrevenue.gov.uk and apply online
- We accept nursery vouchers from companies like Busy Bees and Accor.
The Cost
Charges are made for a 4 hour session, prices on request and vary depending on the age of your child.
