Holiday Computing Camps are back!

Bringing engineering to life! The Sheffield College's Computing Camps give local children the opportunity to build and programme robotic models using the latest LEGO Education Technology.

Holiday Computing Camps are back!

Lego engineering

On the back of the fantastic feedback we received from our previous courses, Holiday Computing Camps are back by popular demand!

Using the latest LEGO Mindstorms robotic building kits, kids will learn about sensors, motors and programming techniques through a series of activities. They'll also have the chance to showcase their inventions and achievements in a special end of camp activity. It's a great opportunity for children of all abilities to engage with technology in a productive and innovative way.

Our own LEGO Education Innovation Studio has now been accredited by the Sheffield Children's University, so any child within a Sheffield postcode can join the Children's University on the first day of camp and use the activities to build up credits and eventually receive an award for their efforts.

This year we will be running two courses:
