Fifty drama and music students are taking part in Redhead The Musical, which is set in a wax museum in London in the 1880s.

Jo Beadle, Drama Lecturer, The Sheffield College, said: "This is our big annual Christmas production with a cast of 50 and live  band. It is an unusual and very entertaining musical with lively songs, excellent dances and a good story line, and provides our students with a great opportunity to develop the skills they need to work in the industry."

First and second year students from the BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts course, and learners completing the Higher National Diploma in Music, are involved.

The show will be staged on December 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th at 7.15pm in the drama theatre at the College’s Hillsborough campus on Livesey Street. For tickets, and more information, email info@sheffcol.ac.uk or call 0114 2602600.
