Multifaith Chaplaincy

Multi-Faith Chaplaincy

We offer opportunities to explore the dynamic relationship between faith, beliefs and values in practice, study, work and life.
Chaplaincy happens when conversations take place between a chaplain and individuals or groups at any level within the college community. Therefore, the Chaplain is a person who has a concern for, and a commitment to, the pastoral and spiritual well-being of every individual who is a member within the college community.

The purpose of the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Service is:

  • the promotion of spiritual hospitality within the whole college community
  • the provision of pastoral/spiritual support to all individuals of any faith and belief or none
  • to contribute to various programmes and events which promote spiritual hospitality and the understanding and valuing of cultural diversity and differing religious/spiritual values
  • the promotion of good relations and well-being in the college community

We encourage understanding and respect for differences between people of all faiths, beliefs and values.
