About this Course

This is an advanced vocational qualification which focuses on the underlying principles and practices of professional make-up.

Entry Requirements

Minimum of functional skills at Level 1 or acceptable alternatives such as ESOL.

Assessment

The course is assessed entirely by coursework therefore you need to have good time management skills and be able to work to targets and deadlines.


Practical assessments will be carried out following training and practise.

Where does this Lead

Students who successfully complete this course may opt to progress to a university level qualification, such as our BA in Media Make-up Artistry.

Extra Costs

You will be asked to purchase a uniform which must be worn at all times when in the studio.


You will also need to have some key pieces of equipment - your tutor will discuss this with you.
