About this Course

Are you seeking to upskill across the Digital Technologies Industries? Our exciting modular courses allow you to upskill in key areas of your practice, equipping you with the vital skills required to ensure you can progress your career in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity and cloud computing. Learn how to mitigate cyber threats, and manage secure cloud environments, crucial in today's digital age for safeguarding businesses, organizations, and personal information without having to enrol on a full-time course.

Key Units

Depending on your exact upskilling needs, you can study up to 4 units without having to sign up for the full course. You can select the units which best suit your needs from the list below. 

You will study alongside our part time students, for the period of which your selected unit runs in the year (Between 6 to 10 weeks, 1 day per week) some of which can be completed remotely. 

As a student of UC Sheffield, you receive all of the same benefits as a full-time student. You will be invited to attend Guest lectures, workshops, and field trips to industry and trade events will enrich your learning experience, providing insights into the world of Digital Technologies and connecting you with industry professionals and expectations.

Entry Requirements

Over 18 years of Age with a prior full level 3 qualification. 


Applications from those who do not have a prior level 3 qualification, but who have the appropriate industry or freelance experience and employer references are also welcome to apply (place offered at our discretion).

Where does this Lead

Further level 4 HNC Digital Technologies units, or a Full HNC Digital Technologies qualification.
