About this Course

The primary role of a digital marketer is to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention. A digital marketer will typically be working as part of a team, in which they will have responsibility for some of the straightforward elements of the overall marketing plan or campaign. The marketer will work to marketing briefs and instructions. They will normally report to a digital marketing manager, a marketing manager or an IT Manager.

Key Units

Apprentices will study:
  • Principles of Coding
  • Google IQ
  • Marketing Principles 

Apprentices will develop a portfolio of evidence with the support of their Work based Learning Tutor (WBLT) and their employer which will be submitted to an external organisation once they are ready for their end point assessment.

The End Point Assessment will consist of:
  • Project 
  • Employer reference
  • Structured interview based around their portfolio   

Entry Requirements

Maths and English at grade 4 or above

Assessment

Apprentices will be assessed through a series of testing, portfolio building, project and an interview.
