Key Units

The Health and Social Care (Health Sciences) BTEC Extended Diploma is made up of 18 units of study.

You will learn about:

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs grades A*- C / grade 4 or above (or acceptable alternatives), including English Language and Maths.

A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required and will be carried out at the start of the course.

Assessment

BTEC Health and Social Care courses are assessed mostly by course work however there will also be some exams.

Qualification Title
Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care (Health Sciences), which is accepted for entry to university and attracts UCAS tariff points equivalent to 3 A Levels.
