About this Course

Students will develop knowledge and skills in early childhood, preparing students to work with children in a range of settings, or to progress to higher level study. Students will need to complete an Industry Placement to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for employment in this sector.

You will also develop your communication, digital and numeracy skills throughout your learning.

Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs including: English Language at Grade 5, Maths at Grade 4, and Science at Grade 4.

Where does this Lead

Students who successfully complete this qualification will be able to progress to employment, university level study or higher level Apprenticeships.

Over two years, students are required to complete a minimum of 315 hours in an Industry Placement which is used to assess students’ Early Years Educator competencies. 


This is an essential component of the T Level and allows learners to apply their knowledge in real life working environments.
