About this Course

This practical cutting-edge course has been designed to look to the future of the creative industries. It will enable you to build not only your creative skills but also help you to understand how to sell your creative work and promote yourself. This course is a one year full time course and offers an exciting blend of photography, design and interactive technology. You will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to shoot professional photography for a variety of uses, create expert websites and design digital content for the future.

Where does this Lead

Successful completion of this course including good attendance, punctuality and tutor recommendation, will lead to one of our Creative Media Level 3 courses or Photography courses as well as appropriate courses within the college. 

Future Opportunities

Future employment opportunities could include working as an apprentice on the Advanced Apprenticeship in Creative and Digital Production.

You will learn from highly qualified and experienced staff with a range of academic and professional media experience. The course will be based in the new building at Hillsborough campus. You will have access to purpose built facilities including photography studios, video and audio suites and professional production equipment

Extra Costs

A facilities fee of £40 per year, is payable at enrolment to allow you access industry standard equipment, studios and facilities for use on and off site throughout the academic year.

Students in receipt of Student Support Fund (SSF) will be supported with this.

Course enrichment activities can include trips, visits and sessions with guest speakers to help broaden your studies whilst on the course.

Students in financial hardship may be entitled to help from the college’s Learner Support Fund to assist with the costs of trips and anything else you need to buy for your course.
