This programme is designed for new entrants to the industry aged 19+, providing them with basic skills and experience. This City & Guilds qualification is designed for those who wish to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the electro-technology sector. It can be used as a foundation to progress onto further qualifications which lead to becoming a fully qualified electrician. The course is a mixture of on-site delivery, 1 evening per week and online independent study. Learners will study the theory modules at home and come into college to complete the practical units and exams.

This programme will focus on developing your skills in household electrical installation. The qualifications are offered with flexible start dates throughout the year.
