Following success in this course you can apply to join a Level 3 Maintenance and Repair course. The qualification is also the Technical Certificate part of an Apprenticeship. Career opportunities include working in motor vehicle repair establishments or fast fit outlets as a repair technician or parts specialist.
Students should apply through the internal progression system with the help of their Tutor Mentor. Progression forms must be signed by your tutor.

Applicants should have a willingness and a desire to study on a motor vehicle course, be able to take in technical information and demonstrate practical ability in a workshop setting.
You will need to bring your own overalls and safety boots for workshop sessions; all other safety equipment will be provided.
