This qualification will provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of business improvement techniques that can be applied across many sectors and job roles. Learners will acquire knowledge of how to work effectively in a team, how to apply improvement techniques in the workplace, techniques that support a workplace and how to solve problems. You will also learn how continuous improvement techniques (such as Kaizen) can be applied for a boost in productivity, effectiveness, safety and waste reduction, and how businesses use it to gain that all-important competitive edge.
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification, however you must be aged 19+ at the start of the programme.
Assessment is based on answering questions either online or by completing a paper-based question/answer paper.
Students who successfully complete this qualification may wish to progress on to the Level 2 Certificate in Lean Organisation Management Techniques, to complement the knowledge and understanding acquired on this programme.
