You will gain an understanding of the principles of lean organisation techniques and how systems or processes can be set up to improve production. You will look at how waste is reduced and the benefits of a lean environment within business organisations. This qualification is suitable if you are working in areas where improvements to quality, process and costs have been identified. It may also be suitable to provide knowledge and new skill set that will be attractive to employers. You may wish to access this qualification with a view to progress to further qualifications or employment, or to develop within your current job role.
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification, however you must be aged 19+ at the start of the programme.
To achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Lean Organisation Management Techniques, you must successfully demonstrate your achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria of the units. This is achieved by completing assessments provided in the learning resources.
Students who successfully complete this qualification may wish to progress on to the Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Business Techniques, to complement the knowledge and understanding acquired on this programme.
