Theory lessons covering the required technology are classroom based, giving you the opportunity to take notes to aid your studies. Practical lessons take place in the motor vehicle workshops and give you the opportunity to develop the skills needed to pass the assessments.

Entry Requirements

4 GCSEs grades A* - E / grade 2 or above (or acceptable alternatives), must include English Language.

Where does this Lead

Throughout the course there will be opportunities to undertake work experience and progression on to an apprenticeship programme.

It can support progress to a Level 2 Diploma and also supplement progress to GCSEs and other appropriate destinations, such as Apprenticeships and employment.

Career opportunities include working in motor vehicle repair establishments or fast fit outlets, as a repair technician or parts specialist.
