This course is for plumbing and heating engineers who want to install Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems, and will demonstrate their competence so they can either join a Competent Persons’ Scheme allowing the self-certification of installations, or to notify the local Building Control department prior to commencing work.
The Level 3 Award in Domestic Retrofit Advice gives you the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide retrofit advice. The course is easy to follow and gives you a comprehensive introduction to whole house retrofit. Learners will gain an understanding of what domestic retrofit is, what it is supposed to achieve, and what to look out for when installing energy efficiency measures in homes.
At The Sheffield College we are offering an adult part-time course that will help you learn how to diagnose faults and carry out repair and replacements on Electric Hybrid and Electrically propelled vehicles. You'll work on the electric rig which we have on site and be supported by our qualified teaching team.
