As communicated yesterday, we have continued to monitor the snow situation closely.

Staff and student safety remains our number one priority and due to the travel disruption in outlying areas and continuing weather conditions, we have decided all college campuses will be closed today, Friday 9th January 2026.

Please note:

• There are a number of planned exams, students will be supported to make new arrangements

• Where possible, learning should be facilitated online

• Our nurseries will also be closed

• The Silver Plate Restaurant will remain closed as planned 

• We have updates on our website and social media channels and an all-student email will be sent shortly. Please remember that the latest snow updates will always be available on the website, intranet and social media channels first

• We expect to be open as normal on Monday 12th January 

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and update you in the usual way if anything changes.
