This course is for plumbing and heating engineers who want to install Domestic Hot Water Storage Systems, and will demonstrate their competence so they can either join a Competent Persons’ Scheme allowing the self-certification of installations, or to notify the local Building Control department prior to commencing work.

This adult qualification is intended for those wanting to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the plumbing industry. Our Level 2 plumbing qualification is a foundational course for aspiring plumbers, covering basic domestic plumbing theory and practical skills and is a stepping stone to higher level qualifications in this area.
This adult part-time course covers the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 (England & Wales), the Water Supply (Water Fittings)(Scotland) Byelaws 2014 and The Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009. It meets the requirements of Water Regs UK on behalf of the water undertakers which participate in the Water Industry Approved Plumbers’ Scheme (WIAPS).
