About FluidOne Computing (HE) Employer Skills Academy
The FluidOne Computing (HE) Employer Skills Academy has been developed to support Higher Education students who are looking to pursue careers in computing, software development, networking and wider information technology roles. Working in partnership with FluidOne, the academy provides students with opportunities to engage directly with industry professionals and gain valuable insight into the technologies, skills and behaviours required in the modern workplace.
Throughout their studies, students benefit from a range of employer-led workshops, masterclasses, projects, site visits and industry-focused activities that complement their academic programme. These experiences help students understand how technical knowledge is applied within real organisations while building the confidence and professionalism needed to succeed within the IT sector.
Learning takes place within a dedicated FluidOne branded environment that reflects professional industry settings and encourages collaboration, innovation and creativity. By engaging with employers and exploring real-world challenges, students gain a greater understanding of career opportunities within technology while developing the practical skills needed for progression into employment or further study.
