Community Open Day
Come along to The Sheffield College's Community Open Day on Saturday 9th May between 10am and 1pm and explore everything we have to offer.
Everyone is welcome and entry is free on the day, just turn up!
Activities and vendors to include:
- Live performances
- Sheffcol's got Talent!
- Lawn games
- Face painting
- Interactive activities including crafting, mocktail demonstrations and live bugs workshop
- Hot food and ice cream
- Sports sessions
- Information stalls
- and much more to be announced

Event information
The Sheffield College City Campus is well serviced by public transport. The nearest tram stop is Granville Road/The Sheffield College. The central bus station is only a 10 minute walk and the 120 bus travelling to Crystal Peaks stops just two minutes away.
On site parking will be available for the event and there is allocated Blue Badge parking. Please note that availability of parking is on a first come first served basis. Alternative parking is available at the Grosvenor Casino (pay and display), just a 5 minute walk away, and also at Q-Park, Sheffield Train Station. City Campus has parking available for both scooters and motorcycles, as well as secure bike storage. Please contact us if you would like to gain access to the cycle storage.
The Sheffield College City Campus is fully accessible. Approved/registered assistance dogs are welcome in the building. Accessible toilets are available on multiple floors.
The event will mainly be outdoors, so please dress appropriately, but there will also be inside activities incase of bad weather.

Charity of the Year
During the event we will be fundraising for our Charity of the Year, Sheffield Hospitals Charity.
Throughout the year, fundraising activities that we run - from bake sales and talent shows to collection buckets and special events - will help raise vital funds for Sheffield Hospitals Charity.

Sheffcol Community Kitchen
For the third year running we will once again be taking donations for the Sheffcol Community Kitchen.
We are asking for donations of dried goods, drinks and hot beverages, toiletries and household essentials, tinned goods and sweet treats.
Packs will also be available for collection, no questions asked.
