To make sure that you enjoy your time with us and get the most out of it in a safe environment, our support teams are here to help you.
How we can support you
To make sure you can spend your time focusing on your studies, we offer the following support to all students:
- in-class support
- childcare
- mental health and well-being
- support with exams
- support with a learning or physical disability (SEND)
We also help our students access personal and financial support, as well as discounted travel.
On campus support
The Student Central Team are available on campus and via email throughout your studies and can provide information, advice and guidance on the following things:
- admissions and applications
- travel support and planning
- printing college ID cards
- student updates and payments for Student Support Fund applications, trips, exam fees and DBS checks
- providing proof of student status letters
- collecting your NUS card
Travelling to us
Getting to our campuses is easy, especially if you’re using public transport! We’re accessible by bus, train and tram, with discounted tickets available for students. Need a hand planning your route? We can help with that too!
Financial Support
We can help support students with funding, essential study costs, free college meals, travel, childcare and much more.
Your health and well-being
Your mental health and well-being are vitally important, so we're committed to giving you the support structures and training that you need to succeed during your studies, and beyond.
Keeping you safe
Your safety whilst you study with us is our number one priority. Our Safeguarding Team are here to support you with any issues that you’re having that make you feel at risk, either at college or at home. They work with lots of amazing agencies who can help you with:
- being/becoming homeless
- domestic abuse
- exploitation
- online safety
- mental health and well-being
- sexual violence/harassment
