About this Course

They are supported courses that enable you to develop your independent living skills and your social, emotional and personal development. You will take part in practical options including cooking and art and you will also have the opportunity to develop your English and maths skills. Some courses on this pathway also have a supported placement attached to enable you to develop your skills and confidence in the workplace.

Key Units

This pathway is split into a number of programmes. When you apply for this pathway, please indicate which programme you are most interested in studying. Our Inclusion Team will decide which programme within the pathway is most suitable for you after discussions at an interview. This will be based on your entry requirements, support need and targets for future outcomes.

An overview of each programme is detailed below or you can click below to download information about each individual programme:

Where appropriate, there are some formal assessments in English and maths.

Where external accreditation is in place an assessment of a portfolio of work may be required.

Where does this Lead

Learners can progress onto the different strands within Inclusion. There are opportunities to move onto Supported Workskills, courses on our Career Discovery pathway or other vocational areas within the college. At each stage there is the opportunity to continue improving your maths and English skills.

Progression will always be assessed on an individual basis.

Future Opportunities
