The Sheffield College’s Advanced Technology Centre will be closed on Wednesday 14th January 2026.
This is due to a blocked pipe and subsequent sewage leak at the campus based on Olive Grove Road. All other college campuses will be open as planned.
Andrew Hartley, Deputy Chief Executive, The Sheffield College, said: “The safety and wellbeing of students and staff is our priority.
“Alternative plans have been put in place for students and staff. Teaching and learning will relocate to City Campus or move online for students affected.
“Teaching and learning for apprentices will be postponed and rearranged. We regret any inconvenience caused.”
In summary:
The Advanced Technology Centre specialises in engineering, motor vehicle, gas fitting and plumbing qualifications including apprenticeships, vocational diplomas and T Levels.
