What’s the difference between a General Open Day and a Campus Open Day?

Our General Open Days of this academic year have been and gone, so next up are our Campus Open Days, but what’s the difference, we hear you ask?!

Our General Open Days have been the perfect starting point for anyone who’s been exploring their options for the future. We opened up all of our campuses and all of our subject areas so that attendees could discover which area called to them the most.

Our Campus Open Days are smaller, and as such, give us the opportunity to take a deeper dive into each subject area. Read on to find out what you can expect at our upcoming Campus Open Days at City Campus, Hillsborough Campus, and our Advanced Technology Centre.

Campus Open Day

Our Campus Open Days will be the perfect opportunity to find out all the details you could possibly need before you start your qualification with us. There will be plenty to explore and discover whether you’re still choosing your qualification, you’re ready to apply, or you’ve already applied.

We’ll be opening up each subject area at each campus, and we’ll have a host of tutors on hand to talk you through your chosen qualification, show you more about your course, or talk you through your options. We will have interactive activities for each area, so you can leave with a taste of what you’ll be doing under your belt. Student work will be on show and our facilities will be speaking for themselves within each subject area.

Our Support Areas are putting on talks throughout the evening so that anyone who has any questions at all can leave knowing all there is to know about their time at college. All you have to do is turn up to the talks that interest you.

Campus Open Days are not only ideal for any students who are certain of their path and ready to apply for their future starting this September, but they’re also ideal for anyone who has already applied, giving them an opportunity to familiarise themselves with their future campus and get a head start on what they can expect when they start their qualification.

What’s more, Campus Open Days are an excellent starting point to anyone who’s just dipping their toes in the water of their future. If you’re in Year 10, you might not be ready to start this September, but getting a feel for your favourite areas and asking all the questions racing around your head will make your options feel clearer and set you ahead of the game when it comes to applying next year.

Depending on which areas you’re interested in, you can book to visit one or all of our campuses, and with each one being on a different day, this means you’ll have plenty of time to discover all there is to know about your future qualification. Take a look below to decide which campuses you’d like to visit.
