T Level Progression Opportunities

T Level Progression Opportunities

After you finish your T Level, you’ll be able to progress on to university level study, a higher level Apprenticeship or into employment.

To find out more about the career opportunities available to you upon completion of each T Level, please click here.

University

A T Level is a nationally recognised qualification that can be converted into UCAS points meaning that you can apply to study a degree at a university of your choice.

If you want to stay at The Sheffield College to study a degree we have lots of opportunities for you! UC Sheffield is the home of our university level qualifications and allows you to keep training in the same spaces you’re used to with people who know you and your career ambitions well.

At UC Sheffield, you can study Higher Technical Qualifications (HTQs), Foundation and Top-up Degrees, and HNCs and HNDs. Click here for more information

Apprenticeships

Each year, more and more students are looking at Apprenticeships as an exciting new progression opportunity.

For T Level students who have absolutely loved their industry placement, we recommend exploring Higher and Degree Apprenticeships as an option.

Higher and Degree Apprenticeships are a university alternative. You will be employed in a full-time role (and paid for it!) so will continue to gain real-world experience with your employer, but you will also continue to study for a university level qualification as part of your job.

Employment

After finishing your T Level, you might decide that you have all the qualifications that you need to get the full-time job you want. The skills that you have learnt on your T Level are designed to prepare you for work so are the perfect foundation for a whole range of jobs that don’t require you to have a degree.

If this what you decide to do, our Employment Services Agency are here to help you find the perfect opportunity.
