About this Course

The purpose of this qualification is to equip learners with the knowledge and understanding of sustainability to work effectively in their sector of industry. It will develop the skills and knowledge to understand how sustainability impacts on the work environment and organisational practice.

Key Units

The core areas of focus for this qualifcation are as follows: 

  • Energy Use: Improve efficiency, reduce consumption, explore renewables
  • Waste Reduction: Reduce, reuse, recycle — avoid single-use products
  • Sustainable Transport: Promote walking, cycling, public transport, car sharing, EVs
  • Water Conservation: Minimise usage, prevent pollution
  • Sustainable Procurement: Choose ethical, local, and low-impact suppliers
On successful completion of this course, you will have the knowledge and understanding of:
  • Sustainability in the workplace
  • Procurement design
  • Energy usage and resource management

Entry Requirements

Level 2 English

Assessment

The assessment will be completed at the end of the course and is graded pass/fail. It consists of two elements:
  • Report
  • Sustainability Action Plan

This course aimed at professionals already in work and are keen to upskill there knowledge within sustainability related aspects within a business environment.
