About this Course

Organisations increasingly rely on computer and communications systems in all areas of their operations and decision-making processes. It is therefore crucial to ensure the optimal performance and maintenance of systems. An Information Communication Technician (ICT) is critical to achieving this. This apprenticeship standard is delivered on day release at City Campus to develop knowledge and skills that you can then apply to your workplace.

Entry Requirements

Maths and English at Grade 4 or above.

You will study and learn in college and with your employer where your progress will regularly be reviewed with your allocated Work Based Learning Tutor. 

You will develop a portfolio showcasing your best work to meet the knowledge, skills and behaviours required within the standard. 

At the end of the apprenticeship, with the agreement of you, us and your employer you will enter gateway in preparation for your end point assessment (EPA) where you will undertake a 21 hour project over the course of a week which will be followed up with an interview based on your portfolio.
