The T Level Legal Services Assistant: Crime, Criminal Justice & Social Welfare is a two-year course designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a career in legal services. In the first year, students will develop a strong foundation in the operations of legal firms, covering essential topics such as finance, the business environment, legal documentation, technology, data management, and risk analysis. In the second year, students will specialise in Crime, Criminal Justice, and Social Welfare, gaining a deeper understanding of the complexities of crime within society. They will explore the causes and effects of crime, alongside the social welfare aspects of the legal system, including the roles and powers of the police, housing benefits, and debt management for individuals.
